Breach of Pobation Warrant - Question
Hi, I'm living in Alberta Canada, but have an existing warrant in BC (the province) for a 'breach of probation' dating back some 8 yrs. I'm wondering what the best way to handle it would be, what I'm not interested in is being taken into custody / remanded; or serving any jail time. Could someone that knows Canadian law advise, thanks.

You ran from a warrant for 8 years and your not INTERESTED in being taken into custody. Take responsibility for your actions. Especially if you are tired of going to bed at night wondering if the next knock on the door is going to be the police.
A funny thing, I live with an RCMP officer.. Seems sometimes these individuals do come off as holier than thou, sometimes; they think better or smarter than others as in the case of this 'RogerDat' guy. If your gonna comment on the law, make sure you know it. I'd be pissed too if I was Niglin, you were ignorant, and wrong in your reply; I'd be careful with the knock on the door and what you are 'implying' comments too. Perhaps you should finish eating that donut next time so you can actually listen to the question being asked, the read up in one or your lwa books, or ask an intelligent fellow officer. Personally I'd like to know the answer to Niglin origional question. Is there anybody that can think objectively, rather than subjectively and actually nows the answer to this question (noticed you also banned Niglin for speaking the truth, reacting like a spoiled child with hurt feelings, grow up)?
Cecil
