I'm a Senior in GA and I have to do a project. I have picked a mentor from the Cobb County POlice Department and I need to preform a formal interview. My only problem is that I do not know what questions to ask him. My topic is the investigative process of a police officer and my thesis is:
For police officers to properly investigate a crime and convict a suspect they must, identify the crime, find supporting evidence to identify a suspect, apprehend the suspect, and aid the prosecution to follow through with a successful conviction.
(I came up with this by reading The Preliminary Investigation Process by Cheif Gordon F. Urlacher and Lt. Robert J. Duffy from the Rochester, New York, Police Department.)
any input on my thesis and any questions that I should ask my mentor will be of great help!!!
