Do Male Police officers wear protection?

I saw a post that said bit a cop in self defense and it made me curious.... do male police officers wear cups to protect themselves? if not.... they should look into it.... what if they are trying to apprehend a suspect and they get kicked.....

Normally I do not like giving out tactical secrets, but this is something all men should know..

When I worked a Security Gig with 8 other Cops at a Gang riddled skating rink on Saturday nights, after I got nearly trampled in a mob stampede while I was covering a fallen child, I invested in one.

It was a bad scene. We were stoned like Isreali's later that night, too... and it never really got much better.

That's all it took.

No. I've been kicked in the nads by a female at work one time. Hurt like hell.

No joke.. My backup was a small petite female that was assiting in the fight in the girls bedroom. After I got kicked, I grabbed the girl by both arms, dragged her kicking and screaming through the living room, out the front door, over the thorny rosebush (to the sounds of additional screaming), and slammed her up against the side of my partners patrol car. Knocked the fight out of her. My backup clung to the girls arm for dear life on the way out.

A trip to the E.R. later for the girl, 8 felony charges, and all was well in the world.
