You are a bastard Group9, you make me choke on the wine I was drinking watching that clip....
But I agree....Reno911 captures the pure random idiocy that makes law enforcement the job that it is.

I saw an episode once where a two-man car is chasing a suspect. The driver has his duty gun in his hand, while driving!! The officer in the passenger seat is yelling to him "Get on it, Mel!!" or something along those lines..... Easily my favorite clip of all time. If anyone can find it online, please post it so we can all marvel at the top-notch tactics.
As for watching it, it seems to even more entertaining when you watch it in the break room with other cops during lunch. We all get a good laugh out of it when we're all watching it.

I remember a reality Cop show that pre-dated Cops in which a small County Sheriff was in foot pursuit of somebody that bailed on a traffic stop.
They were in a mountainous area and he saw the guy he was chasing on the other side of the ravine amidst the pine trees, so he immediately let fly 4 or 5 rounds out of his .30-30 (or similar) lever action rifle at the perp.
They didn't catch him that day, but the reason I remembered it so well was it was somewhere in the mountains of ...
New York:eek:
... and being as I hadn't visited that area as of yet, I had to say at least we in SC didn't shoot at simple Evaders at the time... and even now, our Troopers only try to run them over (apparently)
