I've been thinking of posting this question for a few days now. It doesn't seem all that important and I don't like wasting your free time. I asked my cousin who is a LEO, but he is a Captain of the Major Crimes Unit and seems to be pretty busy lately and hasn't responded to my question. I don't want to bother him much because he has been really helpful so far with my applying to the Passaic County Police Academy alternate route program. Sorry for that long intro.
Question:
My question is after receiving the Notice of Certification from the NJDOP and writing a letter to the department informing them I wish to be considered for the job, what is next? I know I have to wait to hear from the department, so I am actually really more interested in what is the next step after the department (hopefully) gets in contact with me about being hired.
I was looking at the NJDOP website (believe that is where I read this) and it said a psych test and drug test would be administered I believe. If that is the case do you think there is any chance the department would be able to use the psych test and drug test that was administered while I was applying for the PCPA alternate route program?
I think that is all I want to ask and if you need any more info let me know and I will provide what I can.
Edit to add: Obviously someone familiar with the NJ Civil Service hiring process will know best, but hearing how other states progress might give me some ideas of what to expect also.
Thanks in advanced.

No it won't. Civil service is different than alternate route an dthey will pay to have such done by their sources/doctors.
