Henrico-PD-Question

Hello , and thanks i nadvance to any henrico officer or ex-employee that is fimiliar to the Process , id like some clarification.
I recently seperated from the army(Honorable) and got into a IT Job and on the way to work i saw a sign for the Henrico Poilice accepting Apps, so i went online applied and last week recieved my letter for the date of my Written exam, and agi test.My question is and i dont know why, but im extremely nervous about this, ive never been nervous about anything, trust me ive been in situations were normal people would Poop there pants, lol.
Im once applied in CT for a position pryor to me entering the army(8years ago) and didnt make it past the physical(got a letter telling me though i qualified i just did not have relitive experiance that they were looking for) i was straight out of high school, so i opted for going army, but now that im out and this position is open, its all that i can think about. and im not sure if i have what they want, but i believe i have the makings of a fine officer. LoL i seriously dont mean to go on , but i need to hear a answer to this question from the Men/women in Uniform . Say i pass everything and get to my ploygraph( i plan on telling the cold hard truth) and tell the truth..needless to say my youth wasnt the norm, but im completley honest, Even though the state of massachusetts destroys your record at 18, and i have a secret security clearance and thye never knew anything) will i advance to the next stage of the process. I dont have a degree, not that i dont want one , but college with a family as you know is hard epending on you income and work times,but ive got alot of training , motivation, can follow orders to the T, I respect the rank /Title of the people above me..i just dont know if things before i was of leagal age will hurt my chances.. i just dont want to waste there time. All i want is to have that feeling you guys have , the one when you Put that badge on,..might sound corney but someone knows what im talking about. at any rate thanks for any info.
