Is it possible to take responsibility without accepting a punishment?
Is it possible to be punished without ever taking responsibility?

Accepting consequences, recognizing the irresponsible or wrong behavior, and taking steps to insure you correct it are all part of taking responsibility. Punishment is not always possible or appropriate.

Sure it is. Let's say you get your girlfriend pregnant. If you pay child support and never marry her, you are taking responsibility without the punishment. Originally Posted by EasternPromises
