    few questions

I've got a few questions that I can hope will be answered.

If someone did 4yrs in prison, got let out and about a year later got a parole violation and did 1 yr for it, 8mos after they got out from doing the 1yr, they end up getting 5 tickets for dwi, wreckless driving, no insurance, no tags and evading arrest. Does their parole officer not have to violate them, or will the person be violated when they go to court? Are those 5 things not parole violations? How many of them are felonies and how many of them are misdemeanor charges?

The court system doesn't like people like this or let them away with it do they? Especially if they've got a history of being in and out of jail/prison, And has to reappear in court for 2 more misdemeanors 2 days later?

Thanks so much. Look forward to someone helping me get my questions answered.

They are all parole violations. Whether they are a felony or not depends on the state and how many previous arrests. I'd say prison is a given at this point.

    John,
Thanks for replying. As far as I know of the parole violation was due to stealing, distributing of controlled substance, absconder to their parole officer, and I believe a few others. Which they served 1yr for that parole violation got out just 8mos ago and just recently got the 5 tickets I listed.

I figured it was probably prison time for the person but wasn't exactly sure so I wanted to get another input. I greatly appreciate you replying to my questions.

It also may depend on whether or not they are still on parole. If they max out their prison sentence they may not be on parole. For instance if they did 4 years of a five year sentence and then did the last year on the violation then they maxed and won't be supervised anymore.

I know for sure they're still on parole. Same parole as when they got the parole violation a bit over a year ago. And the parole is off of the 4yr sentence they did.

I don't know...California works hard to keep "non-violent" parole offenders out of custody now matter how badly they screw up. The Governator is talking all the time about how he's going to drive down the cost of the corrections system by letting out "non-violent" offenders early and not violating parole for people that commit small violations....like completely disobeying the law in every fashion in a nonviolent manner.

    I love this state!

Well this didn't happen in California. And as far as I know this state doesn't work like that. But I am not for sure on it.

And yet once again you don't tell us what state you are in, so we can at best give a guess at what will happen where you are.
