There were a few people with asthma in my class.
Probably depends on the severity. If you constantly have to use an emergency inhaler, it might cause you problems. I have asthma, but I found that if I worked out and stayed in good shape, it didn't cause me any problems.

A lot is going to depend on type as well as severity. Exercise-induced asthma is going to be looked a a lot more closely than say, asthma caused by pet allergies.

I have asthma and it didnt cuase me any problems.. just have to keep myself in good shape and avoid getting throat infections.
1. If you have a good case, try to compromise; if you have a bad one, take it to court!
2. Wait until it is night before saying it has been a fine day!

You can join the military as well, depending on the severity, I'm fairly sure.
I was turned down by the Air Force because of it, but damn near went into the USMC when I got impatient to get into LE before I was 21.
My retired USMC Sgt. Major neighbor talked me out of it. :cool:
