Recently false allegations were made to CYS by my neighbor's son regarding my fiancee and the case is being closed because of there being no evidence. The child who made the allegations is mentally impaired and has several diagnosis, which he takes several medications for. The child is proven to be lying due to the evidence we provided. Now, what can be done to make this child know he is NOT above the law because there needs to be consequences for his behavior, as well as the behavior of his mother.:mad:

There is something that can be done, but it's not being done. If my daughter had a wire on her and they put the kids together somewhere, I know she could get it out of him why he's lying and then the police could take the kid away from his mother temporarily and preferrably put him into state custody in Shuman Center because he is diagnosed with ODD and has conduct disorder. His Dad just got out of jail about a month ago for buying crack (according to the mom). And when we decided at that point not to watch her kid for her anymore, she called CYS and the next day they were at my house. Riddle me this batman...:mad: Why are they entitled to revengeful lying sociopathic behavior as a family and not have any consequences???

But what if this other child discovers the wire, and then harms or kills your child? Then you'll be charged with child endangerment, and possible criminally negligent homicide.

Interesting second post you have there. I have a few questions of my own...

A wire? If the other kid finds it would your daughter have to go in the Children's Witness Protection Program, and if so would the Feds pay for you to enter the program with her?

How old is the neighbor's child and is there a law where you live, unknown to me, that it is illegal for a child to lie? Who "diagnosed" the neighbor's child with anything and how would you know about it?

Which was your favorite Batman movie?

What were the specific allegations made against you? Are you certain the allegations were made out of a desire for "revenge" for you not babysitting their child, as opposed to genuine concern that your child is neglected or abused?

If the child you speak of is truly mentally impaired, then he is incapable of knowingly lying or has been coached.

Your fiancée apparently walked away from the allegation and you have done the right thing by breaking all contact.

Let sleeping dogs lie, put the yearning for revenge to bed and sweep your own porch before you sweep your neighbor’s.

If you feel an uncontrollable urge to disregard this advice, and cannot put the large “stir the pot” spoon down, then I suggest you exit stage left from RP and call up the Jerry Springer Show. You will get much more satisfaction from that than you will in here. :rolleyes:

How old is the kid in question? How old is your child? Is your ex wanting to do anything about it or is it just you? Because if the allegations were directed at your ex, and had nothing to do, HE's the one that would be able to do anything about it. If the allegations weren't directed at you, there is nothing you can do to get him back.

So quit worrying about it now. Don't associate with the person, or their family again and you have a great defense if you get accused of something.
