Thank you for the help and yes it is primarlaly my friend who needs to make the complaint and no nothing happen between searching the car and putting him in the back.

No the officer did not hurt my feelings but he should not be aloud to do whatever he wants to innocent people, but it seems like you love that power? As for the coment of follow the law? I hardly consider 11 miles over the speed limit a harsh enough crime to tear someones car apart. If you are sitting there saying that then you are just as bad as he is. Ticket for speeding fine but get over yourself.

Anyway im not here to start a fight i have been on this forum for a long enough time i just think its pethetic how some react when i am just trying to get help. Our fault or not you were not there, so just answer the question or dont and once again thank you for those who helped.

We will try very hard to get over ourselves, even as we endeavor to not love the power so much that we use it hurt innocent people's feelings like yourself who really don't want to start fights, but remind us that we weren't there when they ask us what happened, because we are just as bad as the other officer was. :eek:

I can see not having his permanent driver's license with the photo on him. That takes 2-3 weeks to arrive here in Texas, but even here he would be issued a temporary paper driving permit with his information on it.

From what I could piece together from your story the officer was doing a bit of proactive policing. He yielded nothing from your stop aside from a citation. Go the complaint route if you deem it necessary. We can't please everybody. I understand your upset for being pulled out of the car and the whole nine yards for what can be perceived as a minor traffic infraction. We will use stops like this to get criminals off the street so it might not be as simple as "I stopped you for..." and "Here's your ticket". I hope I gave you some insight into the field.
