When I was running the streets in Florida, the way the State Attorneys looked at it was as long as we charge with at least one correct charge they could add or subtract charges as needed. I think they kind of enjoyed cleaning up our charges and pointing out how ignorant of the law we were. In a "mean sibling" type manor. We actually got along well with the attorneys, but there was always the I'm smarter than you competition.

Translation for the intellectually challenged: If the government screws the people too much, it is the right and duty of the people to revolt and form a new government.
