can a cop give a ticket in a private parking lot? there is this parking lot and i made a left on a right turn only.

Yes. Here I can give tickets for certain offenses on private property. Also, any driving action coming out of a parking lot onto a street counts as well.

Yes, I can write tickets on private property, provided we have an ordinance that covers it.

Especially because the reason the sign was there is the number of accidents that happen when people turn left out of the lot.
