As stated on the other thread: You do not need a duty belt and holster. You are 17 and can't have a pistol, so you need neither.
A thigh holster is advantageous if you need the gun out of your way because you are using a long gun as your primary weapon.
A hip holster is better in almost every other circumstance because you can retain the weapon much better from that location.

1.) If you need a duty belt for the course, they will tell you what to get. Wait until they do, and then follow the recommendations of the staff.
2.) FOR THE LOVE OF GOD spell check your posts. No one here will take you seriously if you can't even put a simple sentence together without horrible grammar and spelling errors.
3.) It is not a good idea to put your actual name out there on the interweb. I did four quick searches on your real and screen names, and found the following information:
Your full name (which you provided).
Your address and phone number.
Your mom's name
Where you are in the CAP
Five or six other forums you participate in
That took less than five minutes and was free. Who knows how much I could have found out with a little actual effort? Use some discretion about what you put out online. Once it's there, there is no getting it back.
