I'm 25. What I mean is a "clue" that this might be a sting or something else? I know that offer is for sex, but what I'm asking for is if you pay someone for their companionship only, like it says in the paragraph I posted, but you have sex with them and it is between consenting adults, is that illegal?

What I mean by clue is: nobody in a legit profession is ever going to have a "no cops allowed" disclaimer.

Let's put it in real general terms: If somebody is offering a product or service, and they go out of their way to avoid law enforcement in offering their product or service, it's probably because there is something illegal about what is being offered...

Obviously, you've been surfing Craig's List. Well, guess what, those are hookers. Let me tell you something that might hopefully keep you from making a bad decision. Law enforcement agencies commonly use Craig's List to catch hookers and their clients. Don't be a fool. If you are that hard up, look at some porn and take care of the problem yourself. Don't get arrested and screw up your life because you need a piece of tail.

Thanks! I wasn't trying to hire a hooker at all. I was recently browsing craigslist and saw hundreds and hundreds of hookers listed on there and a few of them had the statement I copied in my original post, so I was just curious to see what the police thought of it.

Yeah... and if they ask if we are cops, we have to say "yes" or else it's entrapment. I worked vice for a while but could never pick up any hookers because I always started with "hey, you wanna 'party' with a cop?".

Don't know why all the hookers avoided me, cops need love too!
