As your husband is going to court today, there is really nothing we can do for him or you. We are law enforcement officers and not soothsayers or bookies, so we do not give odds. Courts have been known to do wacky things before.

The case was dismissed. The officer showed up, but didnot testify. He was there for another case. Thanks to all for your help. I do appreciate it.

If you bounce around tags and insurance this much, what happened to you is bound to happen again. The DMV and your ins company would have a hard time keeping up with all of your changes.

What was the reason the judge or magistrate dismissed?
Like everyone said, we are suspicious by nature,
CHanging plates on cars even you own outright, somewhere down the linw the DMV might mess something up, once a plate is 'suspended' in the system, NCIC, we have no choice but to take the plate and send it in since MOST people who have suspended plates or licenses dont send it in as required and think the suspension will go away.
If a person gets a suspended license say for 6 months, 7-08 to 12-08 but send their license in in 11-08 their license is now suspended from 11-08 to 4-09, NOT 12-08. NOT saying thats what happened here but we hear the song and dance every day.
Glad things worked out for your hubby...
"Det. Tim Bayliss: You never say please. You never say thank you.
Det. Frank Pembleton: Please don't be an idiot. Thank you. "

" From the tracks on his arms, large caliber wound, proximity to a heroin market... I'd say it was a heated dispute about the symbolism of red and blue in 18th-century French romantic poetry"
