I am 20 years old and in college last year, I took up Home brewing my own beer. I can legally buy every thing to make it because there is no alcohol in Hops and malt. I am hoping on becoming a police officer in Washington State would this affect my chances???

When you get done, you will be in possession of alcohol as a minor. Why not wait a year and brew to your heart's content?

If you legally buy the precursors to make methamphetamine, and you make meth, you still have an illegal substance. In your case, because your not 21, the end result is still illegal. That would be a pretty stupid thing to do for someone who wants to become a cop someday.

Why would you make beer unless you plan on drinking beer. It seems you've been doing it for a bit if you 'enjoy' brewing beer as a 'hobby'. If you are drinking beer, you are doing something illegal- something a wannabe cop should stay away from.

Well I have 3 months till I am 21 so I will stop all my brewing untill then and one day maby you guys can all buy a bottle off of the store shelfs. thanks for answering my question know matter how dumb it was. Stay safe.
