I don't know if it's true or not but several years ago I heard that there were several officers in Miami who didn't speak English. Something about most people down there only speaking Spanish and requiring English was a discrimination thing. From what iw as told after that they had to hire officers who only spoke English as well.

It saddens me to think that English language is gradually becoming the second language, in places where most people speak Spanish in some parts of the US. Some people don't make any effort to learn the language of the land, but they use Constitution to protect them every time their "feelings get hurt."
I don't think they should be allowed to pick and chose what they like about the country. You're either American, or you are not! Constitution is not a religion!
