    Flask S/s

Hi - I am new and not in law enforcement. I hope this question is not too stupid but.... I like to keep mouthwash in my car - but with the heat of summer and the plastic container - it gets ucky .... so a friend gave me
a brand new stainless steel flask that would ordinarily be used for whisky.
I rarely drink ... never a DUI .... and would like to use this metal flask to
store mouthwash. If I am pulled over, what problems would I have to
prove it is not alcohol [the mouthwash does not contain alcohol].
I hope u do not think this question is stupid ... but sometimes people
get arrested over stupid things. Thanks for your input. Laine

If the flask doesn't contain alcohol, that's pretty simple to demonstrate. You can just tell the officer it has mouthwash, and if he questions it, tell him he's free to investigate further (allow him to open it, smell, etc.). It's not illegal to have a flask, nor is it illegal to fill a flask with perfectly-legal liquids and store it in your car.

Your situation is nothing to sweat over.

But I know people who carry and drink mouthwash on a regular basis for the alcohol in it.

Why not get those little melt in your mouth plastic strips ?

How bout some altoids or some minty gum. Both store better than mouthwash. Beware of overheating bottles in the car- they tend to explode or spray liquid from under the cap as the pressure builds inside the bottle.

    Flask

    Thanks for your input.
On my diet, I try to avoid sugar and chemicals
and this mouthwash is chemical free and organic.
Never thought it might explode from the Florida
heat - so will be careful not to fill. Guess I will
just try to explain if I am ever pulled over that
is is a non alcoholic mouthwash in a flask !!
Bet the officer will think I am weird.
