Should the drinking age be lowered to 18?

I only stated it was 21. I never said anything about what we were up to off-duty. :D

I was active from 88-94 and it was also 21 for us even on base... of course that doesn't mean that we weren't blitzed every night that we weren't on duty but it was still legally 21 for us! :D

From someone who works in a country where the legal age of drinking is 18 for anything.

I had two cents to spare, so here it is; I'm in agreement with the poster that mentioned the military. If you are old enough to join, you should be old enough to drink. I wouldn't have a problem with 21 or 18 with military ID. When I was in a war zone, you could drink at 18.

As you wish. Except with all due respect, I'm not "yaking" about the same things. I asked for your opinion, you gave me a point by point analysis on how I either fail or am wrong. I simply replied back.

If you don't want to address the counter argument I sent back to you thats fine. On a side note you are entitled to your opinion. Moderation can go ahead and close this thread whenever they see fit (which I'm guessing will be soon). In the meantime, continue sharing your opinions.
