To Aussie George - I understand you're a cop, and I respect you for that, but not all people are BAD...that and this is the Internet, it's not like you pulled me over or served a warrant on me! In addition, had you even READ my comments you'd have seen I'm not interested in doing the job anymore, I have a friend interested in the business. I know how inmates are; prisoner transport is a job I'm happily leaving in my PAST.

To mcsap - I understand that, I'm sorry you felt so uncontrollably compelled to throw in your two cents; even though you couldn't answer my question. I am well aware cops who do not work in the jails and prisons don't know the pricing, but are you guys the ONLY cops who post answers???

To Aussie George - I understand you're a cop, and I respect you for that, but not all people are BAD...that and this is the Internet, it's not like you pulled me over or served a warrant on me! Well it is quite simple. Noone here has ever heard of you before. You come in and post an obscure question without explaining any reason behind why you want to know the ins and outs of prisoner transports, to which most cops wouldn't have a clue as we transport to the lock up and then it is usually someone else's problem, unless you happen to work in one of those areas.

And yes it is the internet. If you had bothered to research this site at all, you would have seen how many times we are bombarded by morons that come here and ask stupid questions in an attempt to pick an e-fight with the dirty po-po under the guise that they are someone nice, when in fact they are some anti-cop teenager who has the brain the size of a pea.

If you had bothered to introduce yourself in the Rap sheet or even stated why you wanted this info in your question you would probably have got a better response.

You decided to do neither and just come into this site, ask a vague question, and when you got a few comments you didn't like you got all bent out of shape, then decided to get all snippy with those that posted in reply to you.

And again, looking back at the replies (before you decided to get all smart) even though they might have a hint of "negativity" they still bothered to answer you to some extent.

If you were to walk into a bar, and ask total strangers a question without any info about why you want to know, what sort of response do you think you would get?

If you had bothered to introduce yourself in the Rap sheet or even stated why you wanted this info in your question you would probably have got a better response. - No, I did not introduce myself, I was looking for a quick answer and if YOU had researched my answers a little bit you would have seen that I've never been in trouble before AND that I used to transport prisoners. In all the time I did that job and in all the jails I visited across the entire U. S. of A. I never ONCE encountered any suspicion or hostility from any cops I met. They were all very friendly and were more than willing to answer my questions without hesitation.

And again, looking back at the replies (before you decided to get all smart) even though they might have a hint of "negativity" they still bothered to answer you to some extent. - A "hint" of negativity?? The ONLY reason some of them answered was so they COULD act like "Barney-bad-*** better-than-me" on the Internet. They didn't have the answer to my question, why waste my time in the first place, if not to just throw in some useless sarcasm?

I respect your job, nor do I envy you guys at all, I wouldn't have it!! But jeez, cut a person some slack!

This has turned into an argument and I never intended it to. I apologize for upsetting you as I unintentionally have; I guess I just went to the wrong place and asked the wrong people for answers, but at the same time it was just a simple question...nothing I said instigated the sarcasm.

As I said , cops aren't in the for profit end of anything prisoner related

YOU were in the business of doing transporting prisoners by a for profit company. NO cops do this. YOU are the only one here that we know of who ever did this and so YOU have ( or should have) the knowledge of this field including the answer to the very question that you seek.

I can understand why a person with your thin skin is no longer in the prisoner business.
