Will I become a cop by the sounds of...

Hello reader,

My name is Alisha and I am currently enrolled in seconary school. I would like to take the time first of all to tell you how much I admire the work that police officers do. I would like to become a police officer because I would like to help people and society. I enjoy taking leadership and working in a team, and working with people. I feel that I could really relate to people in their worst and best situations and understand them.

What I am currently doing to achieve my goal...
- I recieved a certificate at College for participating in Connection Police and Public Safety and Corporal security. I learned about the Prep Test and I plan to take police foundations at Algonquin
- I will attend University and take criminology
- I have recieved 5 certificates this year for acedemic and personal achievement, more than anyone in the school
- I have made arrangments to voulunteer at many places that deal with people
- I am presently working on my fitness
- In grade 11 and 12 I will be taking police and fire services, phsycology, sociology, anthropology, buisness, canadian law, international law, and acedemic english every year

Please tell me if I'm doing well, what I could improve on and my chances of becoming a police officer. Well I know it's hard to tell just by reading this short statement, but tell me what you can please.

Seems like you're on the right path so far. Just stick with that and stay out of trouble and you should have no problems landing a job. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do until after college! So you have a much better start than I had.
