Disorderly Conduct is the " catch all " charge when nothing else works. If you choose to ignore the police at your door, they might go get a warrant for your arrest and come back and TAKE you to jail.

Well, if you put up a no trespassing sign and then the police ignore it, you can can also tell them to leave. If they want to know how you know that factoid, just tell them you saw it on the internet. Make sure you include all of the information like you consider yourself not bound by US law due to the illegitmate practices of Bush and the government, etc, etc.

You have to make sure not all the on-duty cops respond initially to your loud LEGAL party. That way when you call about strange armed men at your door, the other on-duty cops can respond and take appropriate action.

...As for not answering the door... we encounter that fairly regularly in my line of work. Tragically, the door rarely survives.

I always preferred when the door was not answered. Then we can assume someone is under distress inside and we have a contest how many hits it will take to knock the door off your hinges. It usually takes one unless it's a little stronger of a door, be sure to post back and let us know.

Around these parts, most of the noise complaints are in trailer parks. Most trailers have their main breaker box outside.

Nothing gets someones attention more than the lights and music and tv and A/C and bubbles in the whirlypool going dark than turning off the power. The longer they don't answer, the more ice melts in the freezer... :p
