Yes, new agencies you apply to will find out that you failed your psych test. I recommend being honest about it.

We do because we dont want to waste time and money on an applicant who has already failed elsewhere and we would fail that person for the same issues.

Yep, not ONLY at the time of application but even years later. We just fired a 4-year officer because we found out that he did not declare failing an application process with a neghboring dept at the same time he applied with us.:eek:

Even if they did not share information, if you didn't plan to lie, then both departments would not need to talk to each other would they? So even if you kept applying that would have no relevance to your question.
You may have meant to ask, "Do Departments have different hiring standards?" Which the answer to that is, Yes, they do.

After reading a few of an applicants posts on this forum, most experienced officers can figure out which point in the application a person failed out of.
(and yes, you may have better luck at another department, although this thread isn't shining a bright light on your future in law enforcement)
