I know I would be more productive, i.e. a "better cop" (hunting/arresting scumbags, gangbangers, career criminals, etc) if I didn't have to waste a bunch of time dealing with BS situations like IDIOTS, who should know better, violating court orders ...

Thanks MCSAP. I now understand that what occurred could make situations more difficult. If I had realized that beforehand I would not have stopped by. You know what they say about hindsight.

Hindsight shows just how Foolish you were.

I was not trying to cause problems but I see how it did. I walked into a mess that I have taken responsibility for on my end. But I still find it sad to be judged as if my intentions were to harass or harm before being asked one question that night.

    Walk a mile...

Not everyone is out to do wrong. Not everyone is trying to evade responsibility.

A LOT of people Are. That night - You Did.

Yet, interestingly on this site, no matter how many times I take responsibility and admit that I know what I did was wrong cops like to get on here and keep condemning.

Maybe some of us are sick and tired of those types of DV situations - especially the ones that should not have occurred. The ones that tie up several units out in the field while they are trying to get to the bottom of the matter that ends up being a big nothing. Maybe some of us are also sick and tired of our partners getting hurt or killed responding to those types of situations that go very bad...

But I appreciate your feedback in this matter. You have been much more respectful and helpful than anyone else on here.
    hmmm, you also wrote:

I didn't bother to read your second post because of your ignorance to the law in the first one
There's a differences between what one's motivation is and what one uses as an "excuse".
They make no difference to me if they both violate a protection order
    There's a difference behind someone's intent.
    And this matters because?
Besides I have repeatedly said that I know that I violated a no contact letter and I paid the price of that.
So what exactly is your question then?
So you can keep your condescending comments to yourself.
Sorry but this is a public forum all are free to post as they please as long as it does not violate the forum rules.:p
Are you blind or do you take offense to the reality that some police like to make assumptions about situations and just convict everyone claiming to be better than those who break the law?
There were no assumptions made in your situation, and I am better then those who break the law.
Your job is not as judge and jury.
This is good for you because your case would be a very easy one.
I came on here asking questions and explaining a situation not asking to be mocked. Yet what did I get from many of you? It's sad.
What is sad that people like you can't follow a court order and waste our time dealing with it when there or more legitimate things we could be doing.
Then you just proved my point in your comment. You can take offense to what I wrote but many people feel the same way.
I don't take offense because I deal with people like you everyday who try to rationalize their actions
Your defensiveness speaks volumes. You know you can actually become a better cop if you would listen to people sometimes. I think you are the one who can use some listening and reading lessons based on your situation
    You are far from perfect.
This is true, but I am smart enough to follow a court order

Thanks MCSAP. I now understand that what occurred could make situations more difficult. If I had realized that beforehand I would not have stopped by. You know what they say about hindsight. I was not trying to cause problems but I see how it did.

    You created the mess

But I still find it sad to be judged as if my intentions were to harass or harm before being asked one question that night.
You were judged on violating a court order, not your intentions.
Not everyone is out to do wrong.
Your right not everyone, but you are one of them.

Thank you both for proving my point . It's so easy to make you guys defensive LOL. I especially liked being called an Idiot and for wasting your precious time. That's hilarious. Don't assume you know my motivation was either Borninblue...you're no god. You think you are but you're not.

As for "thanks for the nice comments"... that's called sarcasm. Wouldn't expect you to pick that up. That actually takes payinig attention to what is written. If you want to bash people on here when they write to explain a situation and ask questions then it shows just how freaking sociopathic some of you are. Do you get your kicks judging people and putting them down? Do you like being bullies and criticizing? Says a lot about your characters. You guys keep me in business. Keep up the good work! >eyeroll< >sigh< LOL.

Not to disppoint you but I am unsubscribing to your website now. Please do us all a favor and actually stick to answering questions and not putting in your own opinions. This isn't called "Get bashed by a Cop" It's "Ask a Cop".

I would like to thank you for your entertainment over the past few weeks. It's sad how highly you actually think of yourselves versus other people. My office and I would like to thank you for keeping us in business. Where you fail, we pick up. Thanks for working with us.

Yes I posted that twice in case you didn't catch it the first time. I am slow a reader I seem quick to respond before actually READING what is written.

Here's one final tip...anger management. It would do me some good. Rather than pick on innocent people and put strangers down online, why I join a gym or something. Run off that stress. Better yet, go to church. Learn what it means to be meek and humble and understanding. Learn what it means to be decent. Best of luck.
