Phoenix lateral transfer?

Just a quick question here. I have been a cop in CT for about 3 years now, and was wondering if anyone here has done a lateral transfer to Phoenix PD. If so, I was just wondering how tough of a transfer that is. If you did this, or know anyone who did this, did they apply to all the surrounding metro areas, as well, just like we all did the first time we got hired, or is it easier to pick and choose where we want to be if we are already certified. NOTE: CT and AZ both use POST so my certification will carry.

I know this is a real open question, I am not looking for the one true answer just looking for opinions of the process from previous laterals there, thanks homies.

I probably should have looked down a little further on the forum page list, seeing as there is hiring process list on the forum area. Seems I won't be making detective anytime soon. Sorry if I put this post in the wrong spot.
