looking for a real Police Officer

Hi,

I'm looking for a real, preferably male Police Officer to help me with

- expressing in a safe way my anger at my past abusive father (which I've been carrying inside and which has been blocking my further development)
- stopping being afraid of police
- learning more about human rights and assertiveness.

There's plenty of "real" police officers hear on realpolice, but your issues are probably more within the realm of a counselor's (psychiatrist or psychologist) abilities to assist you.

I don't want a psychologist or psychiatrist. I've been working psychologically on myself by myself (with results), and thought that having a friend in police might be a help to me. If not, I'll try to manage myself, which is more difficult.

I am not from UK. I'm a Canadian citizen in Poland. 31, f

I do not believe you, ROS, are a verified LEO. If you're writing about "real" police officers, I'm assuming you're one of them! I'm looking for a real, not "real" P.O.

ROS is a real police officer, txinvestigator seemed pretty clear (being a Canadian, I'd expect you to have a better grasp of the english language... unless you need some french translation), and you say you "felt fear" from a user's ID (GoDirectly2Jail)...OH BOY. :rolleyes:

You are probably best changing forums. However, whether you like it or not, cops won't be qualified to help you. You need a mental health counselor.

If you have serious issues like that then you can't effectively do self psychology... If your well rounded enough to correct your problems with self psychology then you don't really need a cop to help you. Chances are if you think you are giving yourself therapy that's working then you probably need professional help more than anything else.

If you are a Canadian citizen then you ARE Canadian... it doesn't mean you live there or were born there but technically if you are a citizen of Canada then you ARE Canadian.

Sorry Arnica, you seem to have not gotten the proper response you so desired.
The advice to seek the professional help of a certified and licensed Mental Health professional commonly known as a SHRINK was well, proper and perfect. If at first you dont{like an answer} succeed, try try again...
