Actually I am. And so is every other verified guy and gal on here. I, like many others place my life on the line to protect people every day for nothing more than personal satisfaction. I have had guns pulled on me, been stabbed and fought in fist fights for my life. I have successfully passed the NYS security guard training, the NY armed guard training, NYPD Auxiliary Program, a state police academy, the NYPD academy, and FLETC twice. I have answered thousands of 911 calls and dealt with thousands of people.
When you can do what I and others have done, then you will be equal to me. Until then, your just a guy who likes to talk about helping but has done little to actually do it. I have been doing this job now for 11 years.
The cop thing has not gone to my head. What has gone to my head and is irritating as heck is the "buff" who wants to be a cop, and instead of just admiring or actually having a set and trying to be one, they find ways to try get the power without doing the work. If you really wanted to help people, carrying the gun would not matter, and you would have applied to the Aux program and worried about this issue later.
So you call cops a profanity? So much for your "utmost respect." Power like thinking your going to use your 47 hours of security guard training to patrol the streets of New York and make a difference?
First, we are not buddies. You don't wear a blue uniform and we don't socialize. And now I guess I have to use my "power that went to my head" and introduce you to a big thing in law enforcement. Its a document called the CONSTITUTION. And it has this thing in it called freedom of speech. If you even think you'll make it in this field, I suggest you get some thicker skin and toughen up.
Additionally, you came to our house and asked a question. So if you don't like the way it is run, how you are treated, or how you are expected to behave, you can leave at any time. I was here before you, and will be here long after you.
