trying to get help

DCF the hotline for the city sent me to one place they sent me away. they then called another and i never heard from them again. as for the county they were the ones that were contacted by the officer i e-mailed. they were willing to try different things then the city, but they couldn't becuase i didn't live in the county. and why i haven't just walked into an er is becuase i was told that if i went there i would just be refered back to the crisis people so i am going into circles. i really am just confused scared and well i do not know were else to turn. i even sked the crisis line to tell me if there was any help out there for me they never answered me. oh and so you know i thanked the detective that made the call to the crisis line i have been trying to keep him updated with what has been happening. but i did thank him, just like i thank all of you very nice officers that are responding to this post. and are giving me advice. all i can say is theonly thing that is keeping me going is my son.

Just keep in mind that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. There are people that want to help. It shouldn't be that hard to find them, just keep looking. At least you recognize your son needs you. As long as you remember that, you are moving in the right direction.
