    Will this restrict me?

    Hey everyone,

About three years ago i had back surgery to fix my scoliosis, and i was going to join the marines but i am restricted because of the surgery. Since my surgery however i have gained my FULL flexibility back, i lift weights, play football, and am a boxer. I really want to be a police officer, my back is never in pain and i am very active with sports and weighttraining, does anyone know if i will be allowed to join the police force? Please i need help finding out.

Probably not, if you can pass the medical and P.T. test and the psych you should be good to go.
call the departments you are interested in, thats one way to find out for sure.
I might not even be a cop, I DID stay at a Holiday Inn express last night though

I believe a 'doctor' for said position you seek will probably have the best answer for you.

Will a doctor write you a letter stating that you are 100% fit to perform the duties of a LEO ?

Well, being able to play in a game is a far cry from joining the military and LE. If things go sideways in a game, you get to sit on the bench and watch. When you can't do your job in the military and LE, people can die.
