I've heard from some people that you have to be 21 years old to buy a handgun. I'm in Indiana, and I know from packing.org that you only have to be 18 to get a concealed carry permit. However, I haven't been able to figure out the purcase thing. Any Indiana officers know what the law is on this?

You can OWN a handgun in most states at 18. I'm surprised Indiana is 18 for CHLs because you can't even buy the gun in most cases unless it's given to you or private sale.
