What is HTML? Is it code for hot mail?
HTML is is hyper text markup link on the world wide web. Basically its how you talk to various things on the net...a language of sorts. I am trying to describe it in non-nerd terms LOL
I think you can turn it on in your user settings above.
I'm sure it can be better explained by one of our other geeks. My brain is fried and I am off to scrounge for dinner.

Thanks Orlenander & Krissau. I thought you had to have HTML turned on in order to receive a rely from a post?? I posted a message a week ago but could not retrive it. But its working now yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
So anyway, My question was:
Can a 12 yr old child get a feloney? Jason e-mailed and said yes only 7 yrs and under cannot. My other question was, when is it removed? Jason said he beleived its the age of 17.
We'll my son got into trouble when he was 12 received a feleony and the court never removed it from his record. He tried to join the army and they refused him, because he told the truth. My son has wanted all his young life to be a police officer and now there is no way this can ever happen, unless I pay $1000 to an attorney to get it expunged. Why didn't the court remove it like they said they would?? Does anyone know how to do this without getting a lawyer? My son is 24 yrs old now, and that's the only thing on his record. I had to plea bargin with the feloney or have him go on trial and he could go to a youth home till he was 18 yrs old. I couldn't bear that thought, so I took the plea. Didn't have money for a lawyer, so we were appointed one. Hope someone can help me out. Thanks.

Well, even if the record is expunged, it would still show up on his criminal history when he applies for LE. I'm not sure how beneficial it would be for you. You might want to have him call his local PD or whichever ones he might be interested in to see what they say.

And I think it is because of the above...You can find the above in your user cp..under profile I think.
Does anyone know how to turn this on? I have tried...but alas am unsucessful.
I would guess the charge must have been pretty serious if he was looking at 6 years. What was it?Originally posted by Daisy

Trust me, it's not the jeans that make your butt look fat!
No he wasn't looking at 6 yrs, I was just afraid of getting him taken away from me, I wasn't sure what was going to happen and I didn't want to find out. It was all a bunch of crap and my kids life is ruined because of it.

Daisy, without knowing more it is hard to tell.
What was the final disposition of the charge? Did he get probation, unadjudicated probation, or did ya'll just plead guilty?
The courts don't automatically remove convictions from a record unless there is an adjudication of guilt. Juvenile records are usually sealed; however, Law Enforcement agencies will have access to those records.
Have you checked with the LE agency for whom he wants to work? A conviction at 12 may not eliminate him.
Was this the only arrest or conviction? Can you tell us what it was for?
Have you looked online for Michigan sentencing statutes and a Code of Criminal Procedure or the like?
