    It IS against the law for them to have their lights off when running radar. They turn them off on occasion to give you a break. They can meet their ticket quotas, while at the same time you can get the tickets dismissed because the evidence was obtained in an illegal manner. Its a win-win situation.

    I heard that all stop signs with white borders are optional.

    Also, the district attorney will dismiss any charges that required you to read and you can't. [TRUE..it's happened to me]. So I no longer know how to read, and I can't tell what speed that dang sign tells me I should be going.

    Ya know if I was a cop (and good thing I am not) I would rather search a building with a suspect inside than sit in a dark, woodsy area waiting for speeders. Don't ya ever get scared someone will sneak up on ya? I know, I sound silly, but really - do you ever think about that?
