I'm with LT on this one. I don't agree with the assault weapon ban. I think it was a knee jerk reaction. But do you think that our government is going to start rounding people up and shooting them? :rolleyes:

That's not the same thing as fighting a guerrilla action, but for what it's worth; David Koresh showed what some lightly armed civillians can do when the Swat team comes after you

I can't imagine a set of circumstances coming to pass that would make feel that I needed to take up arms against the govt, but if I did, I gauran-damn-tee that I could bring military operations in an area to a virtual standstill

I'm not going to go into details, because there are things that just shouldn't be discussed publically, but no govt is invincible.

I don't have to out-FIGHT them, I just have to out-LAST them. In terms of "will"

With a primary MOS of 13F I sure wonder what if any your secondary was..... I could be wrong though....... If my memory is correct you were in during the 80s, so was I 13B 82nd., our FIST guys were in our unit, an artillary battery. Some did get ranger qualified and went on, were you an officer? Without the equipment, support, what could a company of rangers do.......
I can sit for hours waiting for an Elk, Deer or Bear, each of which can smell you before you even knew it was there. I have the best camoflage there is military or otherwise and can make things in the woods that can kill a full size Bull Elk in less than an hour.
A C-130 gunship can see you in the dark and I have seen them fire 105mm cannons from the air hitting people running around in the dark not to mention the 20mms hitting the place.
So Eric, you say you could, all by yourself, stop all military operations in your area.......
My drill sargents were in Viet Nam, Top was in Viet Nam, I have had friends who were in Mogadisu and know several combat vets and never heard such brazen talk come from them. They didn't need to talk, just look at you in a certain way and you knew they were for real.
No one here knows what you did, if someone has seen your DD-214 then I'm sure you had to kill them. I'm not saying you did not do what it is you say you did I just find it odd that someone with a primary MOS of 13F could bring military operations in an area to a virtual standstill.
