A female recruit for a local agency gets kicked out of the academy for drinking at a bar all night, driving back to the academy, and consuming alcohol in the parking lot after curfew. She was immediately removed from the academy and sent home. Her department is going to let her go back a second time. If the academy allows her in, that is. Can we all please repeat after me? At the local Junior College Academy, they search your car while on the runs. Two stories to tell about this one... first time, instructors found a blow up doll in the recruits truck. They bring the doll back to the grinder, when the class comes back from the run, they tape this doll to the side of the recruit. They made him have it attached to him all day long. Second story, they found cigarettes in one recruits car, they brought them back to the grinder at lunch and made the recruit eat a sandwhich with the cigarettes in the middle.

I don't know who does dumber stuff, the recruits or the instructors.

I think any one who is willing to go through the whole process and then throw it away like that should not be given another chance. There are plenty of applicants who would gladly fill that spot AND follow the rules. (I know I would) I say give one of them a chance.

Well, let's analyze that for a moment. IF SHE HAS A DRINKING PROBLEM, SHE HAS NO BUSINESS BEING A COP. AND CERTAINLY SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SELECTED FOR THE JOB OVER A MUCH MORE QUALIFIED CANDIDATE.

That's my biggest concern. She's on the same dept. as my brother and is going through AGAIN in his class.
