I guess it's time for me to ask a question...lol. Does anyone know how successful the FBI's Internet Fraud Complaint Center is? Reason, I am trying to get money back from a guy whom I believe is pulling a scam on me. I've already got the other bases covered (i.e. PayPal complaint, lawsuit information if needed, etc.), but I was told to make a formal complaint through the FBI if the problem is not solved. Am I correct that they are directly affiliated with the FBI? Any pointers would be great.
Also, if your information is not "good" info for me, please just PM me; I really don't want this person tracking my email back to this site and doing a search on this thread to find out "good" news for him (i.e. Nope, they will only try to scare 'em)... ;) ...you know what I'm saying... ;) ;)

Information you submit to the IFCC will be forwarded to your local law enforcment agency. They will also forward to your state's and the suspect's states Attorney General's Office. I am not sure how other departments treat these cases.
I am currently working on an ebay case where money was paid and no product was received. It is a theft by our state statutes, as it is most states.
