My specialties are
Motor Carrier Safety Officer. I went to the "DOT" school for 2 weeks with the full time DOT officers and have been so certified since 1999. I go out 2 days per month in my coveralls and get FILTHY dirty inspecting ( mostly) trash trucks. The violations are NUMEROUS. Of the 158 trucks we inspected last year, 62 % were taken off of the road for having serious safety violations(s) .
I do a little enforcement while in uniform , mainly log book stuff and safe loading. The fines are steep and I don't need probable cause to do my stops.
Creeper Cop
My specialities are being riot trained, CBRN (chemical, biological, radioactive and nuclear) trained.......hope I never have to do that one for real, and a football spotter (looking out for soccer hooligans before during and after games)
A snout has told me he's got a set of nostrils, so go and get a W so we can spin his drum to see if he's got any monkey gear - The Sweeney.
Outside of patrol, my department has these units;
JET (Juvenile Enforcement Team) The Gang unit
Juvenlie handled typical juvenile crime, the Criminal Investigators for Juvies.
DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) had SRO's (School Resource Officers) in the schools.
ERT (Ermengency Response Team) Our name for SWAT
Downtown Mopeds. (We had officers on Mopeds in our downtown area)
CID (Criminal Investigation Division) included, homicide, burglary, auto theft, property crimes, etc.
OCU (Organized Crime Unit)
Narcotics
Community Services did PSA's, crime prevention, etc.
IA (Internal Affairs)

"Speed is fine, but accuracy is final" --Bill Jordan
Remember those who died, remember those who killed them.
Too numerous to list! But there is just about everything you can think of.
Spy
Don't forget the S.T.R.E.S.S. unit in Detroit back in the 70s
"Policemen are known as the 'finest' and firemen are known as the 'bravest'. We found out why this is true on September 11, 2001"
Wow...those all sound pretty bitching.
But I would find it kinda hard to take a cop on a moped seriously.
Allthough when I was 17 I did get pulled over by a bike cop. My friends just thought was hysterical.....LOL
