Courtroom Security

I am doing a project on security in courtroom. My group and I are focusing on how it has changed and what still need to be changed to make it safer for everybody.

My questions for you are: How has your local courtroom made things more secure for everybody inside? Is there anything that you would change for everybody's protection? Who provides security for your courthouse, Sheriff Dept, Private company or somebody else? Are you allowed to carry your weapon in there, are you required to or is it personal choice?

Hopefully I can get responces from all over the country.

Individual holding facilities...... Manned Metal Detector...... Full Camera System in every Court Room, hallway, stairs and elevator.

Who provides security for your courthouse, Sheriff Dept, Private company or somebody else?

Sheriff's Office

Are you allowed to carry your weapon in there, are you required to or is it personal choice?

Yes
