The first question is, if I'm still in High School and live with my father, am I still considered a minor?

My second question involves a scenario. I brought my flashdrive to school, long story short it was confiscated(sp) and given to my dad. He still has it and refuses to give it back. Being 18, can I report it as stolen, and can he be legally forced to give it back?

Any help on the subject would be appreciated...

If you think you're so mature, go out and get your own place, own vehicle, insurance, payments, and utilities and then we'll see who's whining.

If the item is prohibited in school, then yes, it will be returned to your guardian. Until you're out of school and out of the house I suggest you do what your father tells you. His house, his rules, period.

dude the fact that you are on here crying about an arguement you had with your father proves that you are not a minor it proves you are a baby grow up. Being that you are 18 that should mean get the hell out of your dads house if you dont like his rules. Until then play by them
