How about asking a police officer IN PERSON?

This is not a college paper, "I'm too lazy to do any leg work I'll ask strangers on the internet while sitting on my rear end" resource.

You need to be a little more specific on the question please...that is such an open-ended question...which can lead anywhere.

What impact do you feel your job has on society?

If not for me, the world would be a lot worse off. I'm certain more people would be dead today if I had never been born. Because of this, it is an absolute necessity to our nation's security that I do my job and live to fight evil. That's my modest opinion. ;)
