You really have no time to think. Most of the process is going over your answers to the polygraph booklet. He'll ask you to give your answers and explain them in more detail. The only time I was left alone was the 15 minutes it took to score the test.

They are not allowed to ask you any questions regarding sexuality

I think they ask if you've ever had sex with an animal. I have seen numerous cases around here of that kind of thing, so I guess that's why they ask.

Polygraphs are worthless by themselves and should never be used as the ONLY reason for disqualifying.

Personally, I don't think they truly help the hiring process in regards to getting better hires, I just think they deter or catch the fluff that sometimes gets through to that point.
