hi im a junior in HS thinking of getting an AA in criminal justice. i saw this as a requirement for a few of the local agency's:
90 quarter, or 60 semester college credit hours by closing of application.
this might be a dumb question but how many years is that?

A usual college "quarter" or "semester" if doing full-time student status is 12-15 hours so generally 2 years if a normal school year (ie. fall and spring sessions only).

Actually, scratch the "quarter" that I wrote in there... just pretend it's not there. :D I've only ever used "semester" hours to count my status.

If you are a full-time student for each term (which as Katie stated is generally between 12-15 hrs), don't withdraw from any courses, and don't have to repeat any courses you can finish 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours in 2 years. Originally Posted by TPDHellhound
