Hi I'm a sophomore at Loyola University I'm in a criminal justice class and need to interview a police officer and was wandering if anyone would like to answer a few questions
1). Could you tell me a little about yourself, your name, what academy you attended, how long you've been in the police force, what police department you work for...
2). What is your official job description?
3). What is your unofficial job description?...what other tasks you do
4). Do you have any "War Stories", any interesting stories you many have encountered during your work.
5). What are the pro's and con's of you job?
6). What is your view of the criminal justice system?
7). Do you have any career advise for an aspiring police officer?

To help me, you could be as detailed as possible...also if you do not want to answer any of the questions that’s fine.

Not to dump all over your post, but here goes. If you really have to interview an officer, go down to your local city, county or state office and have at it. I seriously doubt anyone here will give you their name and department or share "police" stories with you like that. Someone may step up and answer questions 5 thru 7 and perhaps 2 and 3. Still, your best bet is to go to a local office and sit down with an officer and conduct your interview.

I seriously doubt anyone on the site will give you personal information, perhaps if you provided your instructors name, Day & Night time phone maybe someone might "BITE".

Question 3: Same as 2 many other tasks
Question 4: None that I will share over the Internet
Question 5: Pro's, enforceing the law, Con's: Going to Court
Question 6: Too Slow
Question 7: Be yourself, be Honest, Do your job!!!!! :eek:
