What does the NCIC show?

Well, a few years back, I was at a local car club meeting. A couple of guys at the meeting started arguing and the next thing you know, bullets started flying. After some ducking and running, my buddy and I hopped in his car and took off. The police were there before we even got out of the parking lot. We were stopped with guns drawn and searched. Everyone that was still there was rounded up and taken to the local police station for questioning. I obviously wasn't charged with anything, but I was wondering if things like this would show up in any kind of database such as NCIC. Or is it just when you are accused of a crime, charged and fingerprinted?

Questioning would usually not be entered into NCIC, rather kept on file with the PD or SO that questioned everyone. The department you are applying with, probably will get a copy of the report that was filed to read over it.

Whether you use low test or premium gas....

If you actually used number 2 pencils during SATs in school....

There are a plethera of things listed in NCIC; it's GREAT!


All kidding aside, wanted persons, guns, cars, articles, protection orders, etc etc are included.

NCIC basically just lets us not about stolen cars, stolen guns, PO, wanted people, and even known behaviors of convicted people (meaning do you resist or not)

It lets us find out if you've been naughty or nice...
