Why do you need strobes?
On an 87 Ranger no less....the strobes will be worth more than the truck
In god we trust, the rest we run through NCIC
Ok so lets get this straight you want to put strobes on the front of your vehicle. And you decide that best place to find that help is a police forum? Have you completely lost your mind. Why on earth do you need strobes on your vehicle unless you have this car designed for SHOW ONLY which I doubt. Come on get a grip dude.
He's probably a vollie firefighter. Avoid strobes, most states regardless of volunteer fire dept laws will not allow you to put strobes/wig wags in you're head lights.
Just get a decent dashlight
Try www.galls.com

Strobes suck in headlights anyway. If you want forward lighting, wig wags are much more effective.
You cannot have this equipment at all in your vehicle in TN unless you are law enforcement or a volunteer rescue squad/fire department with authorization from your chief.
If I were you, I'd go to Galls. Get the full lightbar and lights in the mirrors, wigwags, and a 100watt siren. Behind the grill mounted strobes are cool too....you'll be looking like a copper in no time.

I have guy slike that in my department(fire that is) who fly to calls with more lights than all of our squad cars combined. Then hit a red traffic light and just sit there like a friggin christmas tree on wheels. If I were you, I'd go to Galls. Get the full lightbar and lights in the mirrors, wigwags, and a 100watt siren. Seriously no one likes a whacker. If you are in fire/ems just get a simple dash light. I use mine for about 10% of the calls I run and usually that is just when I go directly to the scene. No need in putting everyone else on the road at risk just to get to the firehouse 15 seconds faster
Save the money on the dash light and purchase a lobotomy.
