Hi all LEO's.

I am a high school senior and I am very interested in becoming an LEO. I have to oppurtunity to become a corrections officer in the state of Arizona, or I can pursue a position as Community Service Officer at a University in my home state of Alaska. The CO possition would be in Maricopa County and would put me in a possition to become a Deputy Sheriff. What do you all think would be the best choice? I also have a background in customer service and Loss Prevention. (Security)

If you are wanting to become a LEO I would take the CSO position

Choose a position that allows you to continue your college education, recieve a college degree, and sign-on to the agency you prefer.

Talk to a couple of the Arizona guys about their impression of Maricopa County, as they know people that work there. After you do you may want to consider the CSO route.
