Maybe it’s just me, but I expect at least a reasonable amount of personal responsibility from people.

Lack of personal responsibility is the number one factor contributing to why this country has been heading down the ****ter for the past few decades (and probably longer). Rep to be sent/owed.

i recently got a ticket for illegal tints in florida, my thing is that when i had them put on the car i was under the impression they were 30 percent, but when the officer (who was very rude and a basic ahole, regardless of niceness on my part) put the light meter on it registered as a 12 percent. i have proof in the form of the receipt from the shop that says that they are legal and they specifically state that they are 30 percent, would this hold up in court and get the judge to drop the charges?

Once I pulled this guy over for no seatbelt, and hanging license plate, and I also issued him a 3rd summons for uninsured vehicle. (who was very rude, and a basic ahole regardless of professionalism on my part). I used my discretion and did not summons his GF/wife/fiance/signifigant other who was a passenger in the vehicle, and also was not wearing her seatbelt. Do you think the judge will find that the charges were substantiated if tihs guy ever goes to court?

I stop people all the time with those stupid neon lights on their wheels/muffler/windshield/ valve stems, license plate etc..... They always say, "the guy at Auto Zone said they were legal. How can they sell something that is illegal?"
I usually give them a ticket and a speech about things you can buy legally but use them illegally.
