Girlfriend Problem with the police

hey there. Just a quick background is that my girlfreind is 17 years old and is on probation for having a half a gram of marijauana. I dont smoke drugs and she has pretty much gotten her act together.

But last night she went to a high school football game and was drinking beforehand. she walked to the game and wasnt drinking there just was drunk. Her friend was being obnoxious and a police officer basically saw that they were drunk and he took their names and made them call their parents to pick them up. My girlfreind said that they may or may not call her parole officer. What will happen if they do notify the PO? Does that count like a failed drug test or what? Because she was just drinking.

she failed one drug test about 4 months ago because her friend and her were down the shore and her freind got really sick. The doctors prescribed a drug called codiene. my girlfriend had the same symptoms but it wasnt nearly as bad as her friend. but she took one of the codiene pills to try to not go to the doctor cause no insurance and failed a drug test because she wasnt prescribed it (she went to the doctor after it didnt get better but they gave her antibiotics).

What is the most likely scenario from this? I dont think she should get in much if any trouble from this and dont want anything to happen obviously but what do you expect will happen?

I know that she could get in a lot of trouble i am just wondering what the likelyhood of that is?

And how can you say that she should get her probation revoked? shes a nice girl and wasnt causing any problems. i dont know if you have kids but Teenagers drink and get in trouble. thats just the way the world works. if you ever have kids chances are they are gonna do the same thing my girlfriend did at some point in their life before they are 21

I have two kids. Do not preach to me what my kids will do as they grow and learn. Yes, kids do stupid things. But, Stupid Kids don't learn from previous wrongdoings. Where does that lump your kid girlfriend?

My kids will learn from me. Therefore, once a mistake is done, I will do all that is necessary to make sure it does not happen again. Just the same as when I was raised.

Apparently your girlfriends parents do not feel the same, and do not parent their child. If they did, they would not have allowed behaviour like hers to occur twice.

And in regards to your original question as to what she should expect; Ask your local DA, Juvvy Intake Counselour or Probation Officer. LE enforces Law, not babysit repeat offenders.

Listen Junior, your girlfriend screwed up and she's going to have to pay the price for it. Not sure what your state laws are, but in Missouri, she would more than likely have her probation violated, and have to serve some or all of her original sentence out.......and if that means her *** is going to go to jail for 30 days, then that's life. She should know better. This saying kids are kids crap is a bunch of BS......at that age, you are old enough to know what is right from wrong.......and if you don't, then you need to start riding the short bus to school again......

A Mistake is when your socks don't match. To drink underage or to use drugs is a willful, intentional act known as a CRIME.

I won't say that your girlfriend is a "loser and whatnot", but I will say that I seriously question your maturity level and stability for (a) putting up with this, and (b) not being man enough to do the right thing and report the probation violation.

why would i report her for drinking? And putting up with what? im a real guy and im there for my friends. when things start to go bad i dont leave them and call the police on them....
