    Going on a ride along...

Okay, so I'm not going tomorrow or anything... the officer I am going with is off for the next three weeks, but he's going to take me out when he gets back! I am full up with training and studying for the month of May anyway, so that works out just perfectly!

Anyway, my question... What do I do on a ride along, aside from ask a million questions... and what should I not do (likely not ask a million questions..lol)!

I'm sure this has been gone over a million times, sorry for that, it's likely a little mundane, I'm just excited for the opportunity and want to make sure he'll want to take me out again!

    Thanks in advance!

Just make sure you listen to and adhere to any instructions and rules given to observers. Exercise common sense and good judgment. By all means, ask questions! That's about all I can think of right now...

Thanks Charlie! I appreciate it! It was just brought to my attention that there is another thread in the general section... can you tell I'm new around here?!

    Thanks again!
