    Duty Belt

Has anyone found the ideal way to put your duty belt in order? I just got mine today with all of the gear and was just wondering if anyone had any tips. Here is how it is set right now from left to right. OC holder, handcuff key, radio holder, 2 handcuff cases, glove holder, magazine holders 2, asp holder, holster. Thanks for any ideas.

from your right side of the buckle: double cuff case, cell phone holder, keeper, ssIII, keeper, pager, nothing on my back. from your left side of the buckle: double mag case, keeper, oc spray, asp (i don't really carry it anymore), pac set, stinger flash light, keeper. I sewed in a pocket into my vest to carry my gloves and I have multiple places on my belt/person I keep handcuff keys.

You might want to check with your PD as well.....I know some PDs want their Officers to set their belts up the same as everyone else.....
Others like mine don't give a damn.....as long as it works for us.

And it sounds like you have a full belt. You may want to try going to 2 liters of cola so you can fit more stuff. ;)

And mine is set up from my left to right: Handcuff key holder, OC, radio, handcuffs, glove pouch, ASP, weapon and double mag pouch.

Thanks for the ideas, I will play some and see what configuration works best for me. Oh Darin my holster is in front, I think that I will just use my waistband and call it good, nothing bad can happen with it stashed there, right? :D

Since we are speaking of duty belts and all, yesterday we had a turn over to state and local authority warrant. The arriving officer was the A-Chief for the local PD. I don't want to say what department, but its one of the natural wonders of the world where LOT'S of water flows over the falls. Anyway, he takes the guy, and I notice that he isn't armed or wearing a duty belt. WIERD! I then noticed that he was wearing a tiny lil gun in a tiny lil holster in the SOB area. I guess it to of been a Berretta Bearcat or other small caliber semi-auto. Nonetheless, it got everybody's jaws wagging after he took the guy and left. Routine as it is with a transport less than 2 miles, I would still take the time to strap on my duty belt with all the neccesary items you use. No point, just and observation.
